Our Story

Founded in 1930, McCartney Insurance Group has proudly served the Lake Odessa area for nearly a century. From the beginning, we've stayed committed to our small-town values: trust, hard work, and treating every customer like family. Though the agency has experienced several chapters of ownership, the McCartney name has remained a tribute to the thousands of clients we’ve helped protect and the lasting legacy of service that defines our work.

Today, we continue that tradition under the ownership of Brianna and Doug Schneider, alongside a dedicated team of agents and customer service professionals. We work hard to match our clients with top-rated carriers and coverage tailored to their needs, whether that includes a family home, a sprawling farm, or a growing business. Our approach is personal, our roots are local, and our focus is always on doing what’s best for our customers.

Located in downtown Grand Ledge, Harry O. Culp Insurance Agency shares a nearly 100-year history and a deep commitment to its community. Also owned and operated by Brianna and Doug Schneider, the Culp office is built on the same values of service, trust, and local expertise. While each agency maintains its historic name in honor of its legacy, our teams work closely together to deliver consistent, high-quality service across Mid-Michigan
